The fee includes: attendance to all sessions, welcome reception, coffee breaks and lunches, banquet and the conference proceedings. Accomodation costs are not included.

Hotel booking will not be charged by the organizers. Participants are requested to make reservations for their hotel rooms themselves.
Block of rooms at a discounted rate have been reserved in the Sound Garden Hotel. This pre-booking will be valid from June 25 to August 16, 2013. After this date the pre-booked rooms will not be guaranteed. Please note that the discount applies only to stays between September 15 and 19, 2013.
To take advantage of the lower room prices participants need to identify themselves when making reservation by using a special code. The code you will receive by email after the registration on the conference. Approximate room prices are given below. The final price depends on the room type selected.

Double room: 70 EUR per night
We advise all participants to reserve hotel accommodation as soon as possible. In case of any problems with booking, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Presentation forms
We invite you to participate actively in this conference by presenting results of your work.
The conference will consist of invited (35 min. + 5 for discussion) and contributed (15 + 5 min.) talks and also poster session.
Posters should be prepared in portrait orientation and have A0 format. There is no special template for posters.
You can submit your abstract while registering. The abstract will be generated automatically. A PDF file of your abstract will be created through the submission process from the information you enter into the website registration form. Please take a moment to read guidelines for authors:
- during the submission process you will be asked to fill in the following fields: “title”, “authors”, “affiliations”, “abstract”, “references” and “acknowledgements”
- “abstract” field should be text only, and not include any graphs, diagrams, figures or photographs. You may add them in the next step of the submission process togheter with their captions (.jpg, .jpeg and .png files are acceptable)
- while there is no explicit limit on abstract length, you should keep them within a reasonable length (not more that 2,300 characters)
- paragraphs should be separated by one line and they should not be indented
- when submitting your abstract you also have the option of being considered for giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster
- once your abstract is submitted you may edit it and correct at any time via the registration form using the PIN code you receive in the confirmation of your registration
The programme and the book of abstracts of the DRIP-XV conference will be prepared electronically and be available on the conference website. Small format mistakes will be fixed before the book of abstracts will be published.
If you do not wish to have your abstract published on the web, then please let us know by email or mark it in the field “comments”.
If you would like to submit more abstracts, please write it down in the field “comments” and send the additional abstracts to drip15@ite.waw.pl as a plain text, with figures in separate files.

Visa application
Please note that the citizens of a number of non-EU countries are obliged to obtain Polish visa in order to enter and remain in Poland. Organizers encourage the conference participants to check themselves the visa requirements for their country. Detailed entry conditions and a list of countries whose nationals may enter Poland without a visa can be found here.
If you need a personal invitation letter to apply for a visa, the Conference organizers will send you one upon request. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form and send an email titled "visa application" to drip15@ite.waw.pl. Your email should include following information (according to the data of your identity document):
- first name:
- last name:
- date and place of birth:
- citizenship:
- residence address:
- profession:
- ID/passport number:
- its expiration date:
- where are you going to stay (if in Sound Garden Hotel, just write SGH):
- how long are you going to stay in Poland (only during the conference or a few days before/after the conference?):
Please notice, that the letter can be sent to you only if you have an abstract accepted and after you have registered to the Conference.

Proceedings
We kindly encourage all participants to submit a manuscript to the conference proceedings which will be published as as a separate issue of Acta Physica Polonica A.
Acta Physica Polonica was established by the Polish Physical Society in 1920. Nowadays it is an open access peer-reviewed scientific journal covering research in physics. In 1970 the journal was split into Acta Physica Polonica A whose scope includes general physics, atomic and molecular physics, condensed matter physics, and cross-disciplinary topics, and Acta Physica Polonica B (published by the Jagiellonian University), which covers mathematical physics, particle and nuclear physics, relativity, astrophysics, and statistical physics.
APP is indexed in major scientific databases, see e.g.: Web of Knowledge, Research Gate, Directory of Open Access Journals. Journal has its printed version (ISSN 0587-4246) as well as electronic electronic one (ISSN 1898-794X).
The impact factor of APPA is 0.444.
Paper manuscripts should be prepared according to the guide to authors available here. An electronic version of the manuscript should be delivered to the conference office during the conference, together with the copyright transfer form. The papers will be subject to internal review. Accepted articles will be published in the first half of 2014.
