How to reach the conference venue from the airport

By bus

Chopin Airport is served by several public bus routes all with stops at Warsaw’s key transport nodes and the biggest hotels. You can reach the conference venue by following ones:

Line 175 (running daily between 04:57 - 22:57)
Route: Chopin Airport – City Centre; main streets ŻWIRKI I WIGURY - AL.JEROZOLIMSKIE (Central Railway Station) - KRAKOWSKIE PRZEDMIEŚCIE - PL. PIŁSUDSKIEGO)

Line 188 (running daily between 04:32 - 23:12)
Route: Chopin Airport – City Centre (Metro Politechnika station) – Praga Południe (Wiatraczna); main streets: ŻWIRKI I WIGURY - AL. ARMII LUDOWEJ - AL. STANÓW ZJEDNOCZONYCH – SZASERÓW – MAKOWSKA)

You need to get off on NOVOTEL 02 bus stop that is exactly in front of the SG Hotel.

By taxi

Print the address of the conference venue available here and show it to a taxi driver.
The taxi stand is in front of the airport. For safety reasons we strongly advise you to use licensed taxi services offered at Chopin Airport. The airport office recommends three taxi corporations:

The taxi fare from the airport to the Sound Garden Hotel is approx. 15 PLN (3,5 EUR). It should take not more than 10 min. You can pay by credit card, but please make sure that taxi driver has got a terminal.

All kinds of public transport in Warsaw use the same tickets. If you need to use public transport more than 3 times, we recommend to buy a short-term ticket. The best choice is a 3-days ticket for zone 1.

The distance from the Conference venue to the city center is 4.5 km (about 3 miles), and to the Old Town about 7.5 km (4.5 miles). The transportation to the city centre is pretty easy as the local train station is very close to the hotel, across the street. The name of this station is Warszawa Żwirki i Wigury. Trains are approx. every 15 minutes and during rush hours even more often. Below you can find the link to the timetable. Fill in the fields as follows:

Taxi

When using taxis in Warsaw, it is strongly recommended that you only use taxis with the following: the symbol of Warsaw – a mermaid – on both front doors, yellow/red stripes affixed to the glass along the front doors, a number stuck to the side of the vehicle, a hologram with the license number and the vehicle’s registration number on the upper right-hand corner of the front glass and a sticker with price information per kilometer that must be displayed on the glass of the right-hand side back door. It is recommended for you to use one of the city's official Radio-Taxi companies, and order a taxi by telephone.
