Our Workshop is an annual meeting gathering Polish community of semiconductor laser technology. It is intended to provide a forum for presentation of recent results in the field of physics and technology of semiconductor lasers, as well as to transfer the knowledge and the expertise to younger scientists.

The workshop is organized jointly by the Institute of Electron Technology and the Institute of High Pressure Physics of Polish Academy of Sciences (Unipress).

The first meeting (2007) took place in Warsaw, at the Institute of Electron Technology, and the second one (2008) - in Kazimierz Dolny, a beautiful town perched above the Vistula River.

This year we invited you to the beatiful Mazurian Lakes District. The Workshop took place from 4^th to 7^th of October, in the Holiday Center "Helena" situated by Gołdopiwo Lake, in the vicinity of Borecka forest. ;-).
